In 2011, Joost incorporated Cash Dynamics, which has since developed into a trusted advisory and professional development firm in the field of Corporate Treasury and corporate/transaction banking ecosystems, including how Fintech and innovation are enhancing the ecosystem. Prior to that, Joost worked in the transaction banking franchise of ABN in strategic advisory and liquidity capacity. Following that, he became the manager of a corporate treasury advisory firm, providing advice to corporate treasurers in the professionalization of their treasury organizations and cash management operations including selection of banking partners and helping banks in refining their value proposition.

As of today, Joost has collaborated with many companies and banks, particularly in the area of Strategy and Business Model innovation with a focus on Corporate & Transaction banking ecosystems and the pivotal role of technology in creating long-term value and offering operational and liquidity efficiency.

He delivers training for top-tier transaction banks and management accountants, finance directors , focusing on Liquidity, cash, working capital, innovation, and digitalization, as well as executive programs for the Amsterdam Business School and the Instead alumni association in the Netherlands.

Joost has served as the Managing Director of an equity-based acceleration program in Fintech & Cybersecurity, which involved scouting, supporting companies to blossom and fundraising. Joost's involvement spans diverse scale-ups within the financial services landscape, with an emphasis on social impact, sustainability, and innovation/digitization. He has the privilege of serving as a member of the Supervisory Board for a school group and two FinTech scale-ups. Additionally, he is co-author of a book on Cash Management and delivers keynotes at industry events.
